Spring 2012 Walks and Workshops Schedule
The primary mission of the Friends of Buenos Aires NWR is education.

We present a diverse program of walks and workshops all lead by experts in their fields. The events are both one-day and weekend.

The Friends actively work with regional schools in offering outdoor education opportunities. The Arivaca Cienega is a popular field trip destination where the Friends and Refuge staff and volunteers give the children an exciting day of learning about the natural world.

We also partner with the Santa Fe Ranch of Nogales in their environmental education programs.

Presentations on the geology of Arizona are frequently given to organizations and schools of the region.
